Every woman’s body is individual, so the size and shape of the buttocks should be proportionate to the front upper part of the body. Buttock augmentation is a procedure designed to accentuate, round and slightly enlarge the buttocks. The most popular way to improve the size and shape of the buttocks is to transplant your own fat. However, when the buttocks are very flat by nature, when a girl is extremely thin and has almost no fat tissue, or when she is aiming for larger, so-called Brazilian buttocks, body fat alone is not enough to achieve a result. In this case, it is recommended to correct the shape and size of the buttocks with silicone implants. If there is excess skin on the lower back and buttocks, there is a third option, which is to remove the unwanted excess tissue by using it to augment the upper buttock pole.
Fat transfer buttock augmentation. This surgery involves liposuction of the abdomen, waist and thighs. The resulting fat is prepared using special techniques and transplanted into the patient’s upper buttocks and flanks. This increases the volume of the buttocks, corrects the shape and fatness. This surgery can also make a noticeable difference to a woman’s entire figure by removing unwanted excess fat in the waist and thighs and giving a rounder shape to the buttocks. However, only about 40-50% of the species survive. transplanted fat cells, which means more fat cells have to be transplanted during surgery.
During abuttock augmentation with silicone implants, an incision of about 6 cm is made in the crease between the buttocks. The buttock implant lodge is formed in the gluteus maximus muscle itself. The muscle securely encases the implant and prevents it from shifting. Silicone buttock implants are used to augment the upper-mid buttocks, enhance the line of the buttocks and increase fatness.
If there is excess skin and fatty tissue in the lower back and buttocks, a third method is used: the upper pole of the buttocks is shaped in a back lift. The surgery is recommended if the buttocks are sagging and there is a lot of excess skin, in which case they can be lifted up and filled with their own surrounding tissue. This gives the buttocks both a lifted and rounder shape.
300-600 ml of fatty tissue is injected into the buttocks at a time. Of course, the larger the transplant, the less likely it is to grow back. For buttock augmentation with implants, the incisions are made in the space between the buttocks, making them virtually invisible once they have healed. The implants are placed in a “pocket” formed in the gluteal muscles. In the end, everything gets sewn up gradually.
Patients regain their ability to work after 1-2 weeks, and it is recommended to avoid physical exertion for 3-4 weeks and not to sit directly on the buttocks. The cosmetic effect of buttock augmentation is long-lasting, but it depends to a large extent on the patient’s lifestyle, diet and physical activity.
