The doctor completed his medical studies at Kaunas Medical Academy (currently Lithuanian University of Health Sciences). From 2000 to 2004, he was a doctoral student at the Kaunas Medical University Surgery Clinic. In 2004, he defended his thesis on the topic of surgical treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease. Since 2013 – professor of the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences, doctor of abdominal and obesity surgery, member of the Lithuanian Association of Surgeons, member of the European Society of Endoscopic Surgery, member of the International Association of Obesity and Metabolic Disorders Surgeons, since 2023 president of the Kaunas Region Surgeons’ Society.

Doctor and surgeon Audrius Paršeliūnas in 2003. graduated from the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences, obtained the qualifying degree of Master of Medicine and the professional qualification of a doctor. in 2009 completed his residency at LSMU Surgery Clinic, obtained the professional qualification of doctor and surgeon. in 2022 he defended his thesis and received a Ph.D.

The doctor advises on the following issues:

• surgery of inguinal and other (umbilical, white line, postoperative) hernias of the abdominal wall (open and laparoscopic operations, with meshes and without meshes are performed);
• correction of abdominal muscle diastasis (minimally invasive and open white line plastics);
• gallstone operations;
• proctological operations (hemorrhoids, paraproctitis, fistulas, pilonidal cysts).
